Network Engineer - VSS Protector
Whitehall Resources are currently recruiting for a Network Engineer - VSS Protector for a project with one of our clients based in Germany.
- Minimum of 9 years IT experience & 4 years' experience with VSS Protector, IDPS, Load balancing, Routing, - Switching & or equivalent with other Packet broker tools
- Ownership of the VSS Protector- Packet broker environment, including, but not limited to, Installation, - Implementation, Administration, writing triggers and Engineering support
- Exposure/knowledge of Packet broker integration with other Security tools like IDPS, WAF and SIEM technologies (ie: Splunk, HP ArcSight, etc.)
- Must have hands-on experience with trigger creation and maintenance, Packet broker administration, Traffic analysis and providing recommendations for future configurations of triggers and also knowledge in System hardening concepts and techniques
- Understanding of Routing, Switching, load balancing and Network Firewall technologies and operation
- Responsible for VSS Protector product life cycle including, but not limited to, product patches, product upgrades, product redesigns, product EOL, etc.
