My client is looking for a consultant to support the IT Sourcing Manager in managing a number of prioritized IT projects that are ongoing this year where Sourcing backing and involvement is imperative.
Negotiable rates and possibility of part remote.
This is an urgent requirement so interviews will be conducted ASAP.
What you will be doing:
- Support IT, executing selected projects, by representing Global Sourcing with flanking activities (supplier management, negotiations etc.)
- Structure and work with IT requirements from the projects, bridging legal department involvement.
- Execute as appropriate: RFI/RFP, creation of statements of work.
- Contract negotiations in synch with stakeholders like IT and Legal.
What you need:
- Proven track record in management of commercial aspects (strategic sourcing) on IT category.
- Strong analytical capabilities.
- Excellent organizational & communication skills
- Service provider mentality, but focused on "Sourcing" disciplines.
- Experience in IT infrastructure-focused projects (hardware, network, managed printing) eg ISP/network retrofit or managed print services rollouts.
- Benchmarking capabilities.
