Senior Test Manager (m/f) German mandatory, Frankfurt area, Germany
Dear all,
for our client in the Frankfurt area we are seeking a Senior Test Manager (m/f).
Tasks:
System Test: Lead data migration system test activities - involves testing of individual components of the Extract, Transform, Load and Reconciliation objects
Trial Conversion: This involves testing the migration code, which enables the data to be migrated to the target application
Functional Testing: Conduct functional testing using migrated data against the Core applications and ensure they continue to operate as expected
Develop and define the overall data migration test approach and strategy
Manage the detailed preparation of all test material that will support the execution process, including conditions, scripts and expected results
Plan the detailed execution of each prepared cycle and script (plan must incorporate appropriate effort to drive all cycles through to a clean status with all identified defects fixed or deferred)
Prepare or acquire required test data to support the execution process
Identify requirements for the involvement of internal & external systems during testing activities and arrange the required access for the team members
Perform planned execution of system testing cycles and co-ordinate with the build teams to investigate, impact and resolve any identified defects (perform required retest activities to confirm clean cycle execution)
Skills:
Successfully completed academic studies or a comparable education
Experiences in different areas/from several changes of perspective
Several years of relevant professional experience in Test Management
Excellent working knowledge of test processes, test design, test planning, documentation and scheduling skills
Proven experience with large-scale software test projects, from planning to execution
Knowledge of test tools (eg Jira, Confluence)
Experience in test data creation/selection
Extensive experience in test and quality methods (eg ISTQB certification is a plus)
Very good English skills, fluency in German is required
