Datacom Service EngineerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company is recruiting for a Datacom Service Engineer, to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Datacom Service Engineer
Position Type: 2 years fixed term employment

Responsibilities:
- Definition of standard external & internal procedures for datacom solutions (layer 2, layer 3, firewall etc.)
- Generation datacom high level design HLD and low level design LLD
- External and internal interface for project coordination
- Provide level 2/level 3 technical configuration and support service to our customers independently or jointly with the technical support team
- Datacom devices configuration, isolate and solve problems
- Deliver technical presentations/workshops and training for customers, partners and prospects
- Conduct project implementation and technical supervision of subcontractors or service partners
- Update of customer workflow & project mgmt. tools
- Provide pre-sales support for testing, bidding or workshops
Qualifications:
- Master degree in telecommunications or electronics or equivalent education (preferably with previous vocational training, Technician)
- Expert knowledge Ethernet, TCP/IP, VOIP, xDSL, MPLS, MPLS-TP and L2/L3 VPN
- Good knowledge implementing and maintaining product Router, LanSwitch, Security, VOIP, Carrier Ethernet
- Preferred knowledge BRAS, Network Funktion Virtualisation NTV, xDSL
- 3 years experience with datacom products
- Preferred valid certificate holder of CCNP/CCIE or similar certificate
- Able to travel in Germany
- Product Knowledge:
-- Huawei ATN, Eudemon, Quidway, CX600-X2. CX600-X8, NE40, NE80, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco 1000, 2000, 3000, 8000, Juniper, Tellabs
