Wireless EngineerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company is recruiting for a Wireless Engineer, to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Wireless Engineer
Position Type: 2 years fixed term employment
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent
Location: Düsseldorf or Munich, (15 - 30% travel)

Responsibilities:
- Technical lead for project deployment in wireless projects: New Build, Swaps, ATM -> IP,
capacity extensions, enterprise / showcase solutions, NB-IoT, Machine-to-Machine (V2X)
- External and internal interface for technical project coordination
- Provide level 2 / level 3 technical support and configuration service to our customers independently or jointly with the technical support team
- Deliver technical presentations/workshops and training for customers, partners and prospects
- Subcontractor training and certification, ensure rollout quality
- Design and validate RF Link Performance, quality and reliability
- Update of customer workflow & project management tools
- Provide pre-sales support for testing, bidding or workshops
Qualifications:
- Master in Telecommunication or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Technician; at least 3-5 years practical experience within wireless delivery projects (Technician, Engineering or back office OMC/NMS/NOC)
- Solid understanding of wireless access network communication principles
- Demonstrate strong technical experience for integration and troubleshooting of wireless products
- Good experience in wireless systems GSM / UMTS / LTE including Machine-to-Machine and “Internet of Things”
- General knowledge of standard installation procedures and transmission network design
- Preferred experience of OMC/NMC/NOC operation in multi vendor environment
- Fluent in English
- Autonomous, strong learning and team cooperation ability
- Able to travel within Germany
