Position: Quality Engineer Development

Location: Sailauf
Start: ASAP
Dauer: 3 Monate mit Option auf Verlängerung
Perm/Contract: Contract

Tasks:
Ensure the quality of critical to customer/product work products and processes during the development phases of product development by identification of risks to the customer and implementation of countermeasures (risk reduction) to meet critical to customer quality deliverables at required quality level
Report quality assurance activities and results. (QA Status Report)
Determines/describes project quality strategy for product development in conjunction with Project Management.
Writes and maintains Quality Assurance Plan for product development (System, Hardware, Software, Mechanic) incl. activities, responsibilities, escalation strategy.
Supports the project in selecting an adequate level of processes, Standards and procedures (Tailoring) in line with internal requirements and customer requirements.
Reports regularly the risk reduction activities and results to the project team and management to provide risk assessment of the quality of the product and risk to internal & external customers
Assure quality of release procedure and baselines (System, Hardware, Mechanic, Software).
Record evidences of quality assurance and risk reduction activities.
Assists the team with resolution on non-conformances.
Consults and supports project team regarding quality issues.
Participates in project team meetings including in FMEA Meetings (eg System, Design, and Process).
Assists engineering team in completing phase and gate review checklists for a project.
Participates in Design Reviews, Phase Reviews and Gate Reviews.
Establish Communication and exchange of information with Quality Engineer (Production) and SQD.
Maintain interface to Operations Quality Engineer to establish continuous improvement of Operations Safe Launch Control Plan development and execution.
Supports the project team with preparation and commencing of CMMI/SPICE audits.
Ensures Lessons Learned Records are reviewed for project relevance and included in the risk assessment for review with the development team (PDT)
Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.
Maintains regular attendance.
Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness ASAP following event.

Ihr Profil:
3-5 years' experience regarding main activities or comparable experience in Automotive Industry.
Knowledge of advanced in performing quality assurance activities during Embedded development.
Knowledge in MS Office applications, Excel, Outlook
Experience in automotive problem solving & risk management (8d/FMEA)
3-5 years experience in managing Automotive Tier 1 Customer
Knowledge of advanced in Automotive SPICE and CMMI or comparable automotive standards
