A market-leading/global/up and coming organisation is looking to expand its thriving team with the addition of an experienced freelance Information Security Expert (m/f). As Information Security Expert (m/f), you will be responsible for performing information security reviews of outsourcing engagements and vendor services, perform interviews with process owners, project managers and other teams to understand, evaluate and test design and implementation of information security controls, and verification of correct remediation of information security risks and adherence to the security standards of the bank.
We're looking for a candidate who has expert knowledge mainly in Experience in InfoSec Risk Management and Extensive knowledge in ISO 27000 standard series.
What skills should you have?
- Experience in planning and performing complex audits and/or Information Security Reviews
- Experience in InfoSec Risk Management
- Extensive knowledge in ISO 27000 standard series
- Relevant certifications as e.g. CISSP, CISA, ISO 27000 Lead Auditor
- Experience in review and verification of data protection requirements (e.g. based on BDSG)
- Knowledge of relevant international standards and regulations related to information security (Germany, Singapore as a focus, but also UK, US and others)
- Knowledge of processes, central solutions and Information Security requirements framework is a plus
- A deep and solid understanding of technical and organisational security controls
- Excellent knowledge in at least one and a solid knowledge in all of the following fields: Operational Risk Management, Audit, Information Security processes, Risk Management, Compliance
- Extensive experience of successfully achieving results within organisational structures of large multinational companies, preferably financial service institutions
