Pre-Sales Consultant B2B Solutions

Job description:

  • Technical support for the sales department eg by advising customers in large projects
  • Independent design as well as technical elaboration of complex projects
  • Creation of cost estimates
  • Accompanying the processes from design to the expansion and implementation of the customer solution
  • Presentation of the services in front of the customer
  • Configuration creation in the Cisco environment (ASR family) based on MEF standard and not standard products.

Technical skills:

    • Expertise IP Routing (IS-IS, BGP/MPLS) and VPN (L3 & L2) technologies
    • Expertise Cisco ASR family
    • Cisco ASR9k (IOS-XR) and ASR1k (IOS-XE) Family (NOT Cisco Data Center - IOS)
    • Experience in Carrier Ethernet solutions (MEF 2.0, E-VPN)
    • Experience with Cisco WLAN solutions
    • Profound expertise IP routing, switching and VPN technologies
    • Studies in communications engineering or similar training in a similar subject area
    • At least 3 years of project experience in comparable work for a telecommunications or an IT company
    • Excellent ability to cooperate with national and international teams at different locations.
    • Self-employed structured work and schedule
    • Transmission of technologies in the telecommunications and network operator's environment.
    • Quality and cost-conscious action as well as distinctive service and customer orientation.
    • German fluently spoken and written.
