For our customer in the insurance industry we are searching for a Service Manager Apache (m/f) in Munich.Responsibilities
The candidate needs to have senior level, will be technically end2end responsible for the Apache service as service manager. This includes
End2end responsibility for Apache Service towards the customers
Service design, development and release management for Apache service
Controlling of service chain including the providers involved (mainly IBM), sometimes even last level support
SLA and KPI management
Continuous service improvement
Support in customer projects
Project Management for Apache service release projects
PreSales and consultancy

- Linux (RedHat Enterprise) skills:
• openssl
• tcpdump, network tools
• start/stop Verfahren (/etc/init.d/)
• Process/Thread Mechanismen
• Interface configuration / management
- Apache skills:
• Configuration, modules
• Redirect/Rewrite analysis / configuration
• Authentification (Client certificates / Kerberos / native)
• Proxy / Balancer Engine
• Forward- / Reverseproxy Design/configuration
• Log-analysis
- Network environment skills:
• TCP/IP incl. TCP/IP Dump analysis and basic network tools
• Network architecture (Segmentation and IP configuration of Subnets)
• SSL / TLS / Handshake
• Certificat- and keymanagement
• Certificate based application communication
• Network Routing
• Network Security
- Basic knowledge about loadbalancing and firewalls together with webserver
- Active Directory / LDAP (Connetivity) experience
- Browser skill for defect analysis (chrome, safari, explorer, firefox)

- SVN administration and backup
- Programming skill in scriting language more than 5 years, preferred Perl
- Enterprise environment skill (> 200 Apache Server)
- Basic Knowledge in application server software and apache specific configurations (JBoss, Websphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, etc.)
- Communication Architecture between Web-, ApplicationServer
- Experiences in continuous development, integration and deployment in the area of cloud including tools like Jenkins, ensible, github
- fluent English and German
