CR/045775IT Project Manager now required by our global client based in Zurich, Switzerland for 12 month contract starting in mid September 2017.
The position will assist the Transition Director and Transition Manager through tracking and maintaining program actions, governance and reports. The role can scale up with more responsibilities as the transition program enters BAU.
Tasks:
To work very closely with the Transition Manager without disrupting the current team dynamic to ensure that
a) Joint Weekly reports are complete and accurately reflect the latest position for the Tower Leads of EDC, NW, ITSM, EWP and UHD
b) To chase all client’s outstanding actions that need to be completed to reach milestones
c) The Blocker, Risk and Action logs are chased up and ensure their status is up to date, also ensure any work arounds if required are in place
d) Drive the fortnightly Risk Workshops for reporting each week to the CIO and the weekly governance meetings
e) To own and manage the Program Management Quality Plan
f) Be adaptive to the changing needs in the program and comfortable in taking on additional roles.
g) Be proactive is supporting the Transition Manager and the BAU Manager who both directly report to the Transition Director
Desired experience:
- Proven experience delivering successful projects as IT Project Manager
- Highly organised and pro-active approach
- Familiar with various project management methodologies
- Fluent English language skills are required (German skills are nice to have)
