Workstation Specialist now required by our global Client based in Frankfurt for a contract position starting ASAP until the end of the year, with a chance of 12 month extension for 2018.
Tasks:
- Manage and maintain the existing Workstation builds
- Perform updates to the build and infrastructure application to ensure security compliance and provide functional changes where required
- Test and deploy the new Workstation build and the various role variants required
- Troubleshoot complex issues and deploy resolution
- Assess and update the relevant standards and control documents for the existing Workstation builds and related hardware and software solutions
- Support the deployment of new solution to the Workstation solution globally
- Integrate new solution and build the solution to roll it out globally
- Provide technical consultancy to Market/Business to help them to select the right solution or getting the best of solution already used
- Works with Off-Shore resources to guide and coach when needed
Desired expertise:
- Technology Expertise in End User & Infrastructure
- Windows Client (7, 8/8.1, 10)
- Active Directory (Group Policies)
- Software Packaging and Distribution (SCCM)
- Secure communications and certificate management
- PowerShell; VB or other programming language
