For one of our clients we are looking for a Consultant Lotus Notes/Domino (m/w):Ptoject Description:
The client has conducted an RfP for global datacenter services. There will be a transition from the incumbent Datacenter supplier to the new one to shift all applications and services. The transition project is estimated to last around 18 months. Based on the results and definitions of the associated transition streams like architecture, governance, the execution team has to move the around 1500 applications and services to the new environment. This includes SAP, NonSAP, Domino applications based on Linux and Windows.
Task description:
The transition from the former provider towards a new provider will also require a data center move.
The existing Lotus Notes/Domino environment needs to be moved to a new datacenter. An application scan will be performed to identify potential applications which can potentially cause problems during the move. The client is looking for an experienced Lotus Notes consultant, who can support the application transition process
Analyse the application scan
Identify critical control points and preventive measures
Perform necessary application changes to ensure the successful move
Plan and perform application moves
Communicate with involved parties (datacenter responsibles, application owners, project team)
Monitor the transition process
Prepare documentation/reports
Required skills:
Excellent understanding of large Lotus Notes / Domino environments
Excellent Lotus Notes / Domino development experience in
Lotus Script
@Formula Language
JavaScript
Java
SAP Connectors
Lotus Enterprise Integrator (LEI)
Excellent analytical skills
Strong technical background to understand cross platform dependencies
Language: English fluent, German fluent
