Location: Erding
For our client, a well known international IT company, we are looking for a SRE with an Oracle DBA profile.
Major Responsibilities:
- Support application deployments, building new systems and upgrading existing ones
- Develop and use monitoring tools to find problems, resolve and escalate to development
- Develop automation to quickly deploy instances from blue-printed applications
- Operate the platform within all security and privacy guidelines
- Provide hands-on engineering, administration and technical support
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack (hardware, software, application and network)
- Build and manage development and testing environments, assisting developers in debugging application issues using tools
Skills:
- Proficiency in deployment and infrastructure configuration management and automation management tools (Ansible, Puppet, etc)
- Excellent knowledge in Linux operating system administration
- Good understanding in Linux Containers deployment technologies
- Good knowledge of C, C++ or JAVA, Perl or Python
- Very good knowledge in relational DB (MySQL, Oracle) and noSQL technology (MongoDB, CouchBase)
- Excellent understanding of Software Engineering methodologies and development cycle
