Für ein Kundenprojekt suchen wir im Rahmen einer projektbezogenen Festanstellung einen IT Applications Engineer (m/w) Web Application Support.Aufgaben:
Responsible for technical analysis, specification, documentation, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Web Application middleware (Microsoft IIS, Microsoft SharePoint Server, Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, JBoss Application Server) and Web Applications
Provide technical support for operation of web based information management and collaboration platforms Microsoft Sharepoint, Opentext ECM and SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise
Coordinate and configure IT infrastructure services needed to provide comprehensive platform services for web applications to the business
Interact with colleagues from other IT areas to resolve cross functional and project issues
Coordinate and implement changes to web application middleware and web applications according to defined processes
Incident – and problem management and request fulfillment as part of second/third level support
Proactively identify where system or process improvements can increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
Anforderungen:
Completed relevant professional qualification or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable degree with professional and project experience
Technical understanding and basic knowledge of relational databases, esp. Oracle and MS SQL Server
Specialized technical knowledge in the field of Web application technology and Web server environments, specifically MS Office SharePoint server, the MS.NET platform and MS Internet Information Services as well as Java platforms (JEE.like Apache Tomcat, JBoss etc.
Very good knowledge in English and German langugage
