Position: L1/L2 Network Engineer (German Speaker)
Location: Campus Kronberg, Germany

Must-Have
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot XP, Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2007 and any other authorized desktop applications.
- Install, upgrade, support and troubleshoot for printers, computer hardware and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
- Customize desktop hardware to meet user specifications and site standards
- Responsible for monitoring, operating, managing, troubleshooting and restoring to service any terminal service client, personal computers (PC) or notebooks that has authorized access to the network
- Dealing with hardware and application support queries and issues reported to the support desk and escalated to the Desktop Support Administrator
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity, and Workstation hardware/software.
- Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and IT systems as well as business related processes and procedures
- Installation & Maintenance of LAN, Network Switches and Router in the network rack.
- Should have Knowledge to provide backup support and assistance to the Network Administrator as needed.
- Should have knowledge on TCP/IP, SMTP, POP, Full duplex and half duplex, SMPS, Static IP, Dynamic IP, and FTP.
- Providing Technical support/Troubleshooting User Queries.
- Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office 2007 products Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, Windows 7, desktops, laptops, printers, networked copiers, NICs, basic LAN/WAN connectivity and others as assigned.
