Responsibilities:
- Consultant / analyst works closely with the Customer team, Project team in all aspects of the setup and implementation of TEM systems and processes.
- Performs feasibility analyses, scopes projects, and works with the Customer Team and PM to prioritize deliverables and negotiate on product functionalities.
- Support development and maintenance of custom Client functionality in the areas of Handlers, RPM/Workflow, and Reporting.
- Responsible for both technical and administrative tasks related to voice and data network systems administration and billing. This includes external service provider billing administration, internal chargeback administration and service request tracking and scheduling. (tracking of orders of MPLS, Broadband, POTs lines, and various orders with multiple vendors).
- Review pertinent information; work with requestors to obtain any missing information necessary to place installs, disconnects, move, add and change orders.
- Responsible to coordinate and troubleshoot the turn up of service with the vendors and LEC's to resolution.
- Prepare billing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Additional responsibilities include upload and maintenance of circuit and site level detail
- Run contract audits and monthly reporting.
- Candidate must be organized, professional and be able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Hands on experience in implementing and using the MDSL product is must (Implementation experience on Similar TEM products is added advantage).
- Candidate must feel comfortable working in both a finance role as well as interacting with internal Infrastructure groups and 3rd party vendors to resolve issues.
- Demonstrate a proven skill set in MS Office with specific focus on MS Excel, SQL etc..
- Telecom technologies and inventory fields.
- TEM product knowledge (inventory, workflow and reporting).
- Experience with obtaining and analyzing data from TEM vendors.
- Experience with creation of business process and product specifications.
- Understanding of cost management concepts.
- Familiarity with accounting principles (debit vs. credit, cost center and GL basics, accruals).
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
- Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
- Previous experience working at a Telecom Expense Management company or billing management experience at Telecom carriers like BT, AT&T, KPN, Verizon or Sprint etc. is a plus.
- English and German language required.
