Beschreibung

Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:

Project description:
As an IT Infrastrucutre Change Manager you ensure that all changes are carried out in planned and authorised manner, therefore you have to assure that the change process is understood by all IT staff. Further you support the improvement plans of the change process and do quality control on the RfC and SOPs.

Your tasks:
Ensure that any modifications to IT Services delivered by the Group IT Operations Team (GIOT) are managed in a controlled and effective way
Communicate, and ensure that the change process is understood and followed by all IT staff, and that the IT agents are trained to use the associated procedure and work-instructions
Provide the metrics associated with the change process to demonstrate tangible result and to identify the needed improvement plans
Support the improvement plans of the change process, and being involved in the adoption of other related ITIL processes, e.g. incident management and configuration management
Chair the Change Advisory Board of the European High-Availability Data Center (EHAD) of Eurofins
Do quality control on the Requests for Change (RfC) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Manage urgent Requests for Change (“fast track”)
Exchange regularly with other IT managers and develop appropriate working relationships with other IT and non-IT groups

Your profile:
Bachelor's degree or comparable education
Significant experience as Change Manager
Strong organizational skills as well as the ability to listen, gather and understand information about people and situations, quickly
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization and externally
At ease with distant and international communications through a wide array of technologies (ticketing tool, documents and forums, phone, chat, e-mail)
Certification in ITIL or project management highly appreciated, but not mandatory
Fluent English language skills both spoken and written required
Background as IT system & network administrator (VMWare, Cisco, NetApp) appreciated, as it could leverage mutual understanding with technicians and administrators
Willingness for a low travel activity
