Infrastructure Architect
Infrastructure Architect: One of our global clients is urgently seeking a Infrastructure Architect to join their multinational team in a progressive environment, using cutting-edge technologies for a well-paying and stable 6-12 months contract in Munich.
The ideal Infrastructure Architect will have the following skills/experience:
- Deep knowledge of hosting platforms (converged, hyper converged) and network infrastructure.
- Experience of working in large Enterprise environments.
- Deep architectural knowledge around the following products:
- Citrix product family (XenDesktop/XenApp,
- Provisioning Services, Netscaler, Storefront).
- VMWare ESXi hypervisor.
- Appsense DesktopNow suite.
- Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
- German language skills are a plus
Reponsibilities:
- Design, delivery and evolution of the desktop and application platform against the architectural roadmap.
- Analyzes new and existing architectures, researches solutions, specifies long term direction, and ensures engineering platforms meet expectations to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure (including topology representation, Low level documentation).
- Support onboarding activities of new entities from architectural perspective
