TASKS
We are looking for an experienced Data Test-Engineer who is able to setup and run end-to-end Test for
digital product developments projects based on Hadoop.
- setup "black box" test cases and tests for Data layer to compare source data with Hadoop on top of Unit Tests
- setup Jenkins jobs to run test case chain
- Plan automated test cycles, integrate into overall testing cycles
- Ensure success of continuous integration and quality control through automation
- Work with Product Owner / Co-Product Owners, Technical Architects and Development Team to understand functional and technical requirements
Angaben zum Beraterprofil
- At least 5 years experience as Test Engineer in agile environment
- experience with DevOps
- Understanding of data driven testing approaches and experience
with testing tools and testing styles such as: unit testing, automated testing, continuous integration
- Familiarity with Jenkins job creation for test automation
- Ideally experience with Hadoop development and testing
- Ability to understand business value requirements and acceptance criteria and translate them into test objectives.
- Basic knowledge of developing and operating Java driven models in distributed systems
- ETL knowledge is a strong plus
- Strong communiation skills on all levels (developers, peers, senior management)
- Strong moderation skills
