Responsibilities
- Install and maintain computer systems and networks, aiming at highest functionality
- Train users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc).
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions
- Develop and maintain local Networks to optimize performance
- Ensure security & privacy of networks and computer systems
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Organize & schedule upgrades and maintenance, without deterring others from completing their work
Qualification
- Recent role as IT technician or in an IT support technical role
- Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
- In depth knowledge of computer software and hardware, including internet applications, networks, and operating systems
- Good knowledge of internet security & data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant
- Fluent German and Language skills
