Network Security Engineer
Network Security Engineer. One of my blue chip client is urgently looking for a Network Security Engineer to fill a long term contract in Munich, Germany
The Network Security Engineer will have:
- Proven hands-on network engineering experience CCNP or higher Deep understanding of networking protocols (eg, IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS)
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools. LAN/WAN/MPLS troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Firewall/VPN/RSA/Certificates/Load Balancer/Cisco Prime/Solar Winds Maintainance and Configuration.
- German Language knowledge is Mandatory

- Analyze business requirements to develop technical network solutions and their framework.

- Perform network modelling, analysis, and planning.
- Develop technology roadmaps.
- Develop test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for various projects.
- Manage technology vendors.
- Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.
- Write functional requirements/specifications documents.
- Assess vendor development/test strategies.
- Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.
- Upgrade network hardware and software components as required.
- Solve complex problems with many variables.
