Transmission Planning Engineer
Main Responsibilities:
- The position requires E2E experience in Telefonica/E-Plus transport network.
- Cluster Pre-checks at handover from Telefonica
---maintain cluster handover criteria reports, judge Telefonica preparation if ready for cluster handover (negative results go back to regional head for escalation to TEF Schedule tracking.)
---Preplanning
---Link Engineering
- Cluster SWAP process & scheduling escalation support
---Interface with transport planners Telefonica
---Interface with transport planners E-Plus
---Shared resource support
- Support transport deployment coordinators in regards to consolidation target achievement
Requirements:
- Must fluency inGerman and English;
- One set of either Telefonica O2 or E-Plus tools is priority.( Telefonica Rollout Tools APT, Netsite, x:acta/E-Plus. Daylight, MW/packet node planning tools, Rambo, transtool).
- Diploma in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or minimum 3 years practical experience in supporting or deploying Microwave Planning project;
- In-depth knowledge of Microwave product Technologies such as Huawei, SIAE;Ericsson;
- Good knowledge in Microwave Planning principle;
- Familiar with Microwave Planning tools such as IQ-LINK,Pathloss
- Problem diagnosis and resolution skills are essential;
- Experience in other telecom vendor is priority;
- Autonomous, strong learning and team cooperation ability;
- Able to travel in Germany;
Travel to Dusseldorf on a regular basis required.
