Network Security Engineer/Architect (Firewall, Proxies, VPN) (m/w) Ref. Nr.: 12979

Duration: 01.10.16 until 31.12.17
Location: Postcode 6 - Frankfurt
Tasks:
- Design, installation, preparation and configuration of big, complex and heterogeneous enterprise environment
- Implementation of the appropriate routing, configuration changes, including the engineering of how and where it has to be implemented on order to get the application running end-to-end
- Build a digital backbone, which is required to transform our costumer into a complete digital enterprise
- Development and documentation of concepts, designs and technical solution papers
- Perform thorough application and communications analysis
- Work with the application owners, vendors and any other sources of information that might help in the design and engineering of the required solutions/environments
- Reverse engineering of the communications behaviors
- Perform the required troubleshooting and support of the numerous difficulties AIT face during the setup of the new environments and the migrations into it

Required Skills:
- Solid, long-term hands-on experience in IT and Network Security projects and operations of big, complex and heterogeneous enterprise environments
- Excellent proficiency and professional skills of technologies, products, hard- and software of Network security, such as Firewalls, Proxies, Reverse Proxies, VPN, Remote Access, IDS/IPS, Content Inspection, in particular from vendors Check Point, Cisco, Blue Coat, Tipping Point, EMC/RSA, Juniper/Pulse and Citrix
- Wide knowledge and proficiency in networking technologies, e.g. Switching, Routing, Voice/Video as well as Load Balancing, in particular from vendor Cisco
- Practical skills and experience in development and documentation of concepts, designs and technical solution papers, high proficiency in working with Microsoft Visio and the whole Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work in teams of different nations and cultures, customer focused, adaptability in dynamic, changing environments, structured working style, strong analytical skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English and German language
