SAP Finance Change And Readiness Lead

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP Finance Change And Readiness Lead to based in Germany for long term opportunity with our end client

Role:

Develop and execute the Finance SAP Change Plan; carrying out Change Impact Analysis, working within a Programme change network, delivering change interventions in order to deliver successful and sustainable change working closely with the Programme Director, Programme Manager, Finance Directors and the wider Programme Team

Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrable and relevant professional experience of delivering with experience of hands-on delivery of change management interventions, including change impact analysis.
  • Understanding of project and change management principles and methodologies
  • Be able to influence and encourage collaboration amongst team members to work towards a common goal
  • Be able to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate own expertise
  • Proven experience of facilitating, problem-solving and idea generation to produce desired output and build engagement
  • Develops strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders through open communication, partnership and consistent delivery.
  • Gains understanding and commitment from others, even from those outside direct team.
  • Presents the need for change in a compelling way to engage colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a portfolio level change plan that builds engagement and commitment to the programme so that changes made are effective and sustainable.
  • Carry out finance portfolio and project-level change impact analysis and change readiness assessments to identify changes and their impacts in order to develop effective change interventions to ensure that changes are well-planned, managed, and sustainable
  • Develop robust change plans, develop and deliver change interventions and initiatives in order to support effective delivery of the project and portfolio outcomes, aligned to the overall programme goals
  • Stakeholder Management, including analysis and plans to take stakeholders through the change
  • Audience analysis to understand change impacts and how these can be managed
  • Understanding the communication and training needs in relation to identified audiences
  • Defining impacts in relation to Organisational alignment to support the change
  • Defining impacts in relation to Operational alignment to support the change
  • Ensuring appropriate training approach, plans and activities are integrated into end to end people readiness plan and interdependencies fully understood
  • Integrating Communication activities into overall People Readiness plans and activities
  • Responsibility for designing and delivering change activities that deliver the agreed benefits

Experience Required

  • Considerable experience managing Stakeholder relationships in a complex Programme environment
  • Demonstrable and relevant professional experience of delivering change across a multiple countries, with experience of hands-on delivery of change management interventions, including change impact analysis.
  • Preferable but not mandatory - experience of delivering SAP, or working within a financial area

Reports to a Managing Director level IT executive or senior program or project manager.
