Vodafone Group IT offers “Digital Workplace” services to its global footprint of 24 local operating companies spread across the world, with the objective to drive employee productivity and engagement. Part of the portfolio is an advanced Collaboration & Application Development service framework, allowing business entities to design, configure & build individual, re-usable business solutions. The service is of strategic importance as it drives digital transformation and superior business productivity within Vodafone internally as well as in the way how Vodafone interacts with (enterprise) customers and partners.Vodafone now searches for an experienced SharePoint/Cloud services consultant who is able to lead the service design/product management role for in the implementation of a well-governed, future proof next generation of hybrid advanced Collaboration/App Development services. Experience in shaping/delivering in the context of an offshore development factory including design & build of enterprise business solutions is an advantage.
As product manager, for the new release to come you will oversee the service framework’s lifecycle from its inception to launch, define the related governance, and accompany and analyse the adoption phase to draw conclusions for the next release. The Product Managers’ decisions are informed by a thorough understanding of the business and customer requirements, a deep insight into the broader industry and market trends as well as a good understanding of the way the products integrate and add value to the wider Vodafone IT services portfolio.
Digital-Workplace entails different hubs with seemless Applications for the users‘ different demands in HR, Finance Dept, business solutions.
There is a total of 300 demands, hence the need for a product manager able to provide a direction for the product going forward.
Business analysis, product management – Database, Workflow processes, rationalising the Application development service.
You should be strong on conceptual level, communication, office 365, sharepoint, market trends in the microsoft world, cloud experience.
