Für unseren Kunden, einen internationalen Chemiekonzern mit Sitz in Köln suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine/nSolution Architect/ IT Demand Manager Data Center (m/w) in Köln über Festanstellung bei Job@ctive
Ihre Aufgaben:
• Requestmanagement
o Pick up the requirements from the application manager towards Data Center Services and transfer them into the standard products of client (e. g. selecting the appropriate application and database server out of the client-catalog)
o Monitoring the progress of the requests at BBS and keep the application manager informed
o Requests of changes on the landscape (e. g. change of RAM, disk space, service level)
• Data Center engineering
o Supporting the application manager in selecting the sufficient IT landscape. Communication with software vendors to find out the real requirements and dig into the technical details.
o Support in questions towards system performance
• IT Coordination
o Interaction with out supplier/ providers towards the requested servers
o Perform escalation managment and handle complains
• C-Level data center support
o Solving of problems towards processes at our providers.
Ihr Profil:
• Ability to independently apply diversified knowledge of current technology in broad areas of assignments.
• Professional with high business process competency and extensive knowledge.
• Demonstrates technical process leadership.
• Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed approaches and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills working with all levels of employees in a global context.
• Ability to develop and foster networks in a global context.
• Experience with the company?s organizational structure and methodology of operation would be beneficial
• Experience in multiple technical or business areas with focus on data center, IT infrastructure.
• Ability to lead service provision on a corporate, divisional, or site scale.
• Capable of sensing culture awareness and obtaining feedback.
Qualification:
• Abschlossenes Studium in (Wirtschafts-)informatik, Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbare Ausbildung
• Kenntnisse der Windows Server Produktfamilie (evtl. MSCE Zertifizierung ab Windows 2003)
• Kenntnisse in VMWare
• Kenntnisse der Datenbanksysteme MS-SQL, Oracle und My-SQL
• ITIL v2/v3 Foundation Zertifikat
• Kenntnisse des Qualitätsmanagements (insb. Dokumentation) in Data Center wäre ein Plus, aber nicht notwendig
