Working on this Position you'll be part of Big Data platform team aiming to deliver innovative analytical solution based on Hadoop ecosystem to bring new insights in drug research, wearable data utilization for clinical trials, optimized manufacturing chain coming from internet-of-things. Your responsibility will be to work with internal customers to model their data and optimize such model for usage in Hadoop environment. This means understanding the technologies and be able to design it accordingly used hadoop technology like Hbase or Hive.Place of work:Prague

Required skills and experience:
•Education: MSc Degree or BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent experience?•Experience with Java
•Experience with databases and data modeling
•Knowledge of Hadoop stack (Hive, Hbase, Spark)
•Analytical skills
•Knowledge of R, SAS is advantage
•Experience with git
•Ability to work independently, asynchronously (across time zones) and with excellent communication skills that cross language/culture/geographic boundaries.
•Usability, user experience, testing, instrumentation and measurement experience
We especially need you if you have:
•Experience with hypothesis-driven (Lean) agile development ... and you know that failures contribute to success
•Experience working in a ‘Start-Up' organisation ... and you know that startups are about finding value needle in the haystack of possible technological solutions
•Experience with developing in/for regulated environment and you know how to deal with regulations
