Role:Business Analyst
Location: Frankfurt
Start: Immediate
Duration: Initial 3months - (with extension) - long term project scope
Language: Needs to be able to speak both German and English
The role will provide exposure to the full project life cycle, including involvement and ownership of the project initiation phases, requirements gathering, testing and deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a global project team to gather, analyze, document and elaborate requirements
- Work with multiple functions including trading, finance and operations groups to determine end to end target state requirements and detailed process flows
- Deliver quality documentation including business requirements, functional specifications and test cases
- Liaise with programme/project managers, client, functional analysts and developers to ensure the IT build is in line with the business requirements raised
- Define testing requirements together with the Test Manager/Lead
- Undertake project support and test management duties subject to experience/demand
- Undertake quality assurance of project deliverables
Skills:
- Relevant past experience working on delivering regulatory projects desirable
- Relevant past experience working on AM, hedge fund, product development desirable
- Proven Business Analysis track record within an Investment Banking environment
- Good analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving
- Good communication skills with ability to work well in a fast paced environment
- Excellent team player, able to work in global virtual teams in a Matrix organization
- Open minded, able to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
- Ability to work independently to high level
- A good understanding of the full project life cycle
- Results focused. Able to take ownership and run with piece of work into execution
- Process mapping tools and techniques and ability to build use cases required
Education:
- 1st/2.1 from a top tier university (or equivalent required)
- Accountancy qualified (desirable)
- Mathematics A-level grade A (desirable)
- Business Analysis certification (desirable)
