Tax Specialist
We are currently recruiting for our client, an International Telecommunications Organisation for a Tax Specialist to join their project in Germany.
Position Title: Tax Specialist
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: ASAP

The purpose is to ensure tax legislation, mitigate tax risks, & provide expert tax advice & to ensure high quality in tax accounting & reporting. The tax manager is functionally responsible for tax specialist activities.
Responsibilities:
- Manage direct tax
- Manage indirect tax
- Manage withholding tax
- Manage transfer prices
- Manage reporting, tax audit & compliance
Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Taxation
- Advanced tax accounting skills
- Extensive tax compliance and tax controversy experience in Francophone African countries
- Tax advisory or consulting experience
- Fluent in oral and written English and German
- Knowledge of GAAP (ie local GAAP, IFRS & group directives)
- Knowledge & understanding of financial systems
- Experience working in SAP
