Our client, a a multinational IT Provider for the global travel and tourism industry is looking for a consultant, who can support the internal team "Vendor Management". Processes have to been analysed, reviewed and tested in order to generate a new flow chart. New Processes will be set up with LEAN.
Summary Overview of Responsibilities:
Conceptualize a revised the Contract Maintenance and Contract Fulfilment process for Vendors. Integrate the process roles with Financial and Service Management tools such as SAP SRM, SAP Finance module, APPTIO. Implement a fulfilment Monitoring and Controlling framework for vendor contracts. Prepare handover of the framework to various internal roles, including offshore locations.
Scope of Work:
- Work out a concept for revised Contract Maintenance and Contract Fulfilment based upon LEAN principles, respecting the needs of various internal players, namely Corporate Finance, Corporate Purchasing, Corporate Controlling, Service Portfolio Management, Leadership and Vendor Management roles.
- Analyze, request, implement and verify improvements to existing Financial Management tools for tracking of financial commitments and accounting status
- Define and maintain cost and performance controlling for vendor contracts
- Provide data input for the NSD divisional management dashboard with regards to vendor contracts
- Manage the cost structure of vendor services actively and work towards cost efficiency
- Prepare a catalogue of day-to-day Contract Fulfilment tasks and prepare handover of the framework to various internal roles, including offshore organization
