Requirements
- Plan and manage new business opportunities in the European market for Cloud Computing
- Platform, Big Data, Storage, Server and Data Center Solutions. Define high-quality product feature charters and 1–3 years’ product and solution roadmaps. Develop the cloud service portfolio based on the WEU market demands (public, private or hybrid cloud). Initiate and drive improvement of the competitiveness of IT technologies and platforms. (such as T-Systems Open Telekom Cloud project.)
- Initiate and manage the Joint Innovation Centers and/or Projects (JIC/JIP) with key customers in particular in the area of cloud transformation. Identify new business opportunities and drive incubation of new solutions and business models.
- Perform feature analyses (discard the junk and select the essential, eliminate the fake and retain the genuine) and transform the results into lean product roadmaps as part of an end-to-end, integrated management of customer and market requirements.
- Support light-house and early-adopter projects in Europe; analyze customer scenarios and use cases and derive a corresponding solution roadmap and technology charter.
- Formulate the 1–3 years strategic plans, identify potential mid-term threats and opportunities; support achievement of the company strategy and annual business objectives.
- Formulate a cooperation strategy and execution plan (including pre-competitive research, technology, platform and product development); build-up the partner ecosystem and manage the partner relationships.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years in IT Solution/Product Management or Service Portfolio.
- Recent experience in a principal, expert, or director level role related to IT consultancy, in a major vendor organization (i.e.Amazon, Microsoft, IBM, etc)
- Previous experience customer requirement gathering, portfolio management, and planning strategy
- Strong expertise in Cloud Computing, Storage, Big Data, Data Center Solution
- Open for Germany and European short-term travels
- Eligible to work within the EU
