On behalf of my client I am searching for a Netapp consultant to troubleshoot Netapp, and have a large understanding in dealing with the 2 protocols in parallel and be able to provide advice on the architecture if this would be the source of the problem. The client has Netapp installed across several locations across EU
Consultant should be fluent in English. German language would be an advantage but not essential and hold a valid EU passport. Ideally the consultant should be available immediately and be prepared to work in Germany 5 days per week with the possibility for remote work within a month for 1-2 days per week.
File services for 2 protocols NFS and CIFS. Both are very important for the customer, the NFS because they have a large base of installed Linux compute Servers for engineering (a mixture of REHL5 and 6) and of course CIFS for the windows world.
Currently the client is facing problems at the level of lost access and performance.
Expected duration, 6 months with possible extensions.
