For our client we are looking in Stuttgart for a SAP System Administrator (m/f).
Aufgaben:
Analysis and resolution of incoming incidents and service requests.
- Providing 2nd & 3rd Level Support (focus on SAP Administration) to end users, resolving system errors and implementing small enhancements.
- Updating relevant documentation such as Functional and Design Specifications.
- Perform and assist with root cause analysis of incidents.
-Ensuring all activities are delivered in line with SoX and GxP compliance needs.
- Ensure compliance of SAP systems with IT security guidelines.
- Engage with 3rd party vendors providing services.
-Close cooperation with internal SAP project teams.
-Pro-active monitoring of SAP environment (using tools such as Solution Manager) to identify technology risks and develop solutions before they impact the business (i.e. system performance, disk utilisation, batch job monitoring).
- Manage and define failover strategy and responsibility for backup and recovery of SAP
-Transport management of ABAP and Java changes
- Database administration and management
-Managing hot notes / patches / upgrades into the production environment.
-Building strong relations with our IT Infrastructure management group (local/global).
-Building and maintaining relations with SAP, hardware and service providers.
Skills:
- Graduate in a business focused economic science or computer science subject
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in SAP System Adminstration (Installation of SAP, Upgrading SAP, Performance Tuning, Solution Manager, SAP Netweaver, HANA, server technologies, databases and operating systems
- Willing and able to adopt in a self-dependant way knowledge about latest Software versions
- Ability to manage their own workload and prioritise tasks.
-Familiar with SAP Solution Manager and ITIL processes (ideally ITIL certified).
- Know-how in Cherwell is a plus.
-Customer orientation and being proactive.
-Able to work under pressure in an organized and efficient way.
-Fluent English; German and /or French are a plus.
