Telecom or Datacenter Procurement ManagerWe are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Telecom or Datacenter Procurement Manager to join their business in Dusseldorf.
Position Title: Telecom or Datacenter Procurement Manager

Requirements
- Create IT procurement strategy (IT Outsource, Data Center, OSS, NFV, etc)
- Optimize IT procurement model
- Support pre-sales projects
- Develop IT procurement capabilities
- Control IT category cost management
Qualifications
- 10+ years of senior procurement/project manager experience, specifically in the ICT transformation project and IT network construction field (i.e. Data Center, OSS, NFV) OR a major telecommunications area
- Good knowledge of Datacenter L1 construction essential equipments procurement (power, cooling, firefighting and decoration materials, power system, cooling systems, etc)
- Familiar with Datacenter L2 IT infrastructure procurement related to IT Outsourcing Hardware (Minicomputers, Servers, Storage)
- Understanding of software (OS, Database, Middleware, VM, or ERP/CRM Apps) licensing/service renewal.
- Recent exposure in a leading IT company (such as IBM, HP,Accenture, Atos, Cap Gemini, TCS etc)
- Familiar with sourcing process (suppliers’ qualification & selection process), supply chain environment and cost structure and cost optimization analysis ;
- Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, analysis and project management capabilities in complex or cross functional environment
