Connect44 is looking for a Customer Support Engineer (m/w)

Purpose of the Role:

  • Radio Integration

Main Area of responsibility:

  • Coordination of MW related integration tasks, scheduling of integration activities

  • Evaluate quality of planning data

  • Support process definition and service ramp up

  • Support, trigger, prepare or - whenever applicable - provide necessary integration pre-activities

  • Integration of new Access or Transport NE or a functionality within OSS System

  • Data fill from the Back Office using Network Management System

  • Support of the On-Site Integration

  • Implement & Check fault free DCN connectivity using Network Management System and Purchaser Tools on entire link chain

  • Handover of the NE to Purchaser (Back Office & SOC) after a agreed stability period

  • Documentation and customer tool status update (NetSite, APT, Digis, Daylight, NGNP)

Key Tasks:

  • Preparation of MW integration and coordinate of relatedOn-Site Integration tasks

  • Support e2e integration for LTE/3G/2G sites

  • Check routing and port status

  • Blocking and de-blocking of according BSC and RNC accesses in case an existing service is effected

  • Integration of Microwave Links in the InsightNet tool

  • Integration of new or transport NE or a functionality within the OSS System

  • Implement & check DCN connectivity using Network Management System: Configure IP addresses, static routes, subnetworks, default gateways

  • Change IP settings on different microwave links in the chain if necessary to achieve connectivity

  • Set-up and verify the link synchronization (eg according to X:akta)

  • Implement CC trails and data fill using TCM & Insightnet tools

  • Activate link chain and related intermediate ports, check status and related alarms

  • Set up the Comarch user on each NE

  • Work order administration and documentation

  • Update Database and ticketing systems

  • Routing of standalone delete microwave

  • Controlling of integration processes

Key Information:

  • Place of action Berlin

  • Some of the tasks can only be done between 0:00 and 6:00 am.

  • Shift work required bewteen 08:00 am and 08:00pm

  • Reporting MW Integration progress

  • MW Integration Lead Time

German language mandatory!
