We are looking for a Freelance CloudOPs Engineer this is a remote role.My client needs someone to start ASAP until end of the year with an option to extend.
The salary varies depending on experience between €60-€90 per hour.
Project:
The Information Platform of Energy Networks (iPEN) is a central element of our client's digitization strategy "Energy Networks Big Picture Digital". It is the necessary bridge between the transactional database and the intelligent customer solutions.
The aim is for our client to use iPEN to accelerate its solution development, increase its range of solutions for customers, and enhance its partner capability. What is special about the iPEN program is that the intelligent solutions are developed jointly by lead regional companies and can then be scaled cost-effectively, quickly and flexibly across all customer's regional companies through the newly created platform.
Tasks:
Shape and evolve the iPEN api and data integration delivery platform in collaboration with ESP platform team.
Raise and discuss iPEN requirements and find platform product compatible solution approaches and create implementation plan.
Hands on code contributions to sandbox/poC activities as well as platform infra as code contributions/merge requests to help fast track iPEN feature requests.
Close collaboration with iPEN security architect.
Must have Skills:
Deep kubernetes experience, ideally with multi-tenant cluster operation.
Good understanding with general networking and traditional segentation as well as cloud native and k8s specific networking technologies and service meshes.
Strong hand-on experience with terraform /azure and ideally gitlab based CI/CD.
Good skills at communication, negotiation and analysis.
