Test Engineer • Performing of system tests in the vehicle at the customer factory or in a climate chamber• Performing of type testing in projects for air conditioning and refrigeration systems for rail vehicles, as well as for assemblies and components
• Preparation, instructions for the installation, implementation, and evaluation of HVAC unit and component testing (type and system testing) in accordance with the test program
Responsibilities:
• Performing of climate tests during the system test in the vehicle at the customer factory: setting of the climate system in terms of air and temperature distribution (setting duct system) as well as regulation in collaboration with the software department; performing performance tests; solving discrepancies; support of tests in a climate chamber
• Performing of climate tests as well as railway resistance and water tests on air conditioning systems during the type tests as well as tests of assemblies and components, Creation of test specifications, instructions preparing the test samples, interpretation of test results, development of constructive requirements and creation of test reports
• Elaboration and verification solutions in cases of deviations from the specification
• Elaboration of development needs on components, assemblies and air conditioners in the context of r & d activities
• Development and implementation of solutions of automatic measurement and evaluation and effective test methods and procedures, selection of measurement technology and suppliers
• Collaboration with engineering, design, manufacturing, project management and quality department. Co-operation with the customer, Quality responsibility and Work under the authority of the superior
Qualification profile of an ideal candidate:
- 4 to 8 years of experience, Graduate from University of applied sciences / TU, mechanical refrigeration / air conditioning or similar with experience in dealing with measurement technic & COMPUTER skills Knowledge of foreign languages (German, English and / o. French) spoken and written
