TätigkeitenbeschreibungFür unseren Kunden aus dem Raum Basel suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt einen erfahrenen Project Manager mit Business Analysis Erfahrung (m/w). Die Arbeit findet im internationalen Umfeld statt. Projektsprache ist Englisch.
Aufgaben:
We are looking for an experienced individual who combines the skills of a project manager and a business analyst to support our clients project teams in implementing customer solutions in the IT environment. Success in this position will require strong project management/support and analytics skill, the ability to think conceptually, and the experience to develop creative, yet practical, IT solutions.
* You have professional work experience in the field of project management/support, business analytics, and operational improvement.
* You assist the lead project manager in managing the day-today activities required to keep the project on schedule. In many cases, you will assume significant responsibility for project support tasks (maintaining the project schedule, documenting meeting minutes, responding to project stakeholder questions, writing progress reports, etc.). This is your “due diligence,” and you should be comfortable asking as many questions as necessary to confidently execute your daily responsibilities.
* You can work independently without a lot of guidance and take direction depending on the assignment. You have strong influencing skills and a proven ability to get things done without formal authority.
* You evaluate the progress of the project to ensure that the timeline is followed steadily and consistently. You keep an open line of communication with the project participants.
* You gather requirements and information through interviews with project contributors and stakeholders and study the procedures and systems currently in place.
* You have the skills necessary to look at data and other relevant information in order to structure information in an easy and understandable manner. Additionally, you support the project team in the creation of user manuals and other project documentation.
* You are an excellent communicator and eager to keep project stakeholders informed on a regular basis.
* You juggle various tasks efficiently by prioritizing your assignments.
* You embrace working on global projects in a virtual environment with stakeholders located in different parts of the world.
Für diese Aufgabenstellung sollten Sie über die folgenden Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen verfügen:
* 5-8 experience as Business Analyst with Project Management or Project Management with Business Analysis experience, effectively supporting virtual cross functional project teams in a highly matrixed organization.
* Experience in project management, operational improvement, and business analytics.
* Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English (spoken & written) is required; additional languages, preferably German, are a plus.
* Professional certification (PMP) preferred but not necessary. Experience in the pharma industry a plus but not required.
* You have an ability to think outside the box but can follow standard procedures when necessary.
* You are used to working in an unstructured environment and enjoy assisting in evaluating and improving work processes and information flows.
* You have an entrepreneurial spirit.
* You are ethical, independent, and highly motivated selfstarter with logical problem-solving abilities.
