Proteus Europe are currently searching for a Test Engineer for one of our clients. This role will be creating and delivering advanced semiconductor integrated devices for a wide range of applications. Innovative, highly capable products also have an exceptional reliability in hostile operating conditions. Manufactured ICs are individually tested at multiple temperatures to ensure the performance and quality of devices used in automotive electronics systems. Products featuring an integrated sensor are applied to pressure, optical, motion or magnetic tests in addition to conventional analog and digital signals. The Test Engineer develops the software and hardware to automate these tests, aiming at an accurate and robust test solution with an optimized throughput.We are looking for an ambitious Test Engineer for our Process and Test organization, to drive further growth. He/She will be responsible for the development of test solutions for our semiconductors.
Accountabilities:
As Test Engineer you will develop test solutions and contribute to the verification phase of new IC developments, for which you cooperate with design and characterization engineers.
After verification of new IC's, it will be your accountability to bring test solutions to our manufacturing sites.
Therefore it must be validated and released according to standards to ensure the quality level we guarantee our customers.
Test engineers work on different projects and technology in multicultural teams, contributing to high technology products on a global market. This will give you the opportunity to build up both technical and business related skills in a young, dynamic and successful company.
- Develop or improve the test solution for mixed signal integrated circuits.
- Ensure a robust and sustainable test solution for manufacturing.
- Contribute to IC project achievements in terms of product specifications, cost, quality and timing.
- Create and validate hardware and software needed for the test solution.
- Cooperate with the design team to implement relevant test-modes.
- Evaluate measurements with statistical methods.
Job requirements
- Engineering degree in electronics
- Experience in measurements techniques is an asset
- Fluency in English
- Prepared to travel to our production sites.
