Wir suchen einen technischen Redakteur für Berlin.Responsibilities:
management of the whole customer documentation process for a rail vehicle project starting from offer through project phase and warranty (description of type and scope, development support, production, acceptance) in at least two languages
Design and implement vehicle documentation and training materials
Independent implementation of customer requirements, including the requirements of the parent contracts
Check the maintenance records for the vehicle and for the systems for completeness and formal correctness
Lead discussions and negotiations with customers on the scope of documentation and organize documentation
Plan the work package in collaboration with the department head and project organizational defined responsible person
Preparation of specifications for documentation and training materials in case of outsourcing of services
Collection, evaluation and negotiation of offers by potential documentation suppliers in cooperation with procurement
schedule and control of input from engineering
Independent writing of client-related documentation
Approval of documentation in case of cooperation with a service provider
organize and conduct customer training
Skills:
Education or experience in electrical engineering , mechanical engineering , industrial engineering or automotive engineering
Education as a technical writer or several years of professional experience as a technical writer
Fluent English (source documentation and contract language are often English), other languages an advantage; secure knowledge of German
Experience in the rail vehicle technology, particularly in the area of maintenance
Knowledge of project management
Office software, Lotus Notes, FrameMaker (or equivalent) , XML, pdm database
openness, self- confidence , proactivity , ability for team work , creativity
