Technical Author/Technical Writer - UX UI - Munich - €400 - €450 Per Day
Overview:
Our client, a highly reputable governing body are looking for a Technical Author/Writer to join their team based in Munich.
The role:
Your role will be joining the UX Design team and you will contribute to defining the user interface and you will influence the company's patterns and designs. Our client needs someone who understands the value of copywriting in complex professional software and has a passion for improving and maintaining a consistent User Experience, not just writing words.
We need someone who is familiar with agile design and development methodologies. You will thoroughly understand the user goals, business needs, and create consistent and coherent language that helps people accomplish their goals and increase their daily productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Write informative and engaging copy and descriptions and UI labels and calls to action.
- Copy editing and product messaging (feedback messages, warnings messages, etc.)
- Information architecture/content strategy across all software modules.
- Software's voice/tone development and integration in product and communications.
- Content guide evangelization, socialization and enforcement across eDossier.
- Analyse business goals and user needs and translate them into content strategy.
- Support the UX Concept documentation efforts.
Required Skills:
- 2 years as a UX Content Strategist or related field writing for interactive user experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, English, or related field
- Ability to think strategically with an attention to details
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and individually to drive results
- Experience adhering to and developing style and identity guidelines
- Understands the value of the latest design trends (responsive design, mobile first, etc.)
- Experience working with UX Designers
- Can easily put themselves in the user's shoes
