For our client in Hamburg we are searching for an experienced UX Designer (m/f).Tasks:
Must-Have:
• Identify design problems and devise functional solutions
• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features
• Researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for the platform
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Long-term commitment to develop and work with a digital style guide and design pattern library
Nice-to-have:
• Testing methodologies; plan and moderate user experience testing
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
• Present your ideas and concepts to the stakeholder and developer community
• Follow the latest web trends and best practices
• Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation
Skills:
Must-Have:
• Wireframing/Prototyping software: Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Axure, ...
• German (Fluent)
• English (Fluent)
• Ability to communicate, understand and work with a community of stakeholders, developers and users
• Understand detailed and complex requirements and design complete user experiences
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices
• Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions
• Experience with digital style guides and component libraries
• Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
Nice-to-have:
• Jira / Confluence
• Adobe CC; Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, ...
• Basic HTML5, CSS3
• JavaScript skills are a plus
• Experience designing complex solutions for data driven platforms
• Experience with user stories and user journeys
• Experience with responsive web design
• Understand the importance of corporate identity, branding and visual consistency
• Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them
• Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies
• A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design
