SAP Securities & Authorisations Consultant

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for an SAP Securities & Authorisations Consultant to be based in Hannover, Germany

Role Type: Contract 100%
Base Location: Hannover, Germany
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months' rolling

Skills and Knowledge
- Expert level knowledge of professional standards and principles in SAP security administration and practices.
- Proficient in SAP Security administration and development across multiple SAP systems as well as have vast knowledge of SAP security concepts. Must have hands on experience utilizing SAP GRC tool suite (RAR, CUP, SPM) and understand how to effectively remediate and/or minimize risks associated with the design and provisioning of end user access. Must be able to access, recommend and implement proper security administration supporting SAP Netweaver, CRM, ECC 6.0, BW, BI, HCM, SCM, GTS, among others
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networking and system operations
- Ability to analyze potential impact on company systems and inform management of actions needed or other recommendations. Proven process analysis and improvement skills.
- Ability to design, document, execute and review appropriate Change Management processes associated with SAP environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Proficient understanding of SAP''s authorization concepts
- Proficient understanding of SAP Security best practices
- Ability to effectively work with role owners to analyze and understand authorization issues and subsequently create/implement a solution that follows strict guidelines. This requires excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to extend excellent customer service. Ability to influence and lead peers and contractors as well as mentor and guide junior teammates.
- Expertise in organizational unit based structural authorizations.

Experience
- 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP Security concepts, administration procedures and basic ABAP and SAP interfaces with IDOC, BAPI, ALE, EDI, and RFC, especially those pertaining to SAP Security.
- Hands-on experience in development and administration in multiple SAP environments, applications, and toolsets (R/3, ECC 5/6, GRC 5.3, IDM, BW, BI, SRM, CCM, XI, SCM, GTS, Portal, et. al). - Experience in creating and maintaining SAP security roles for functional areas (eg FI, CO, MM, PM, PS, HR).
- Experience in an SAP NWDI development environment, Portal, Solution Manager, and Single Sign-on is highly desirable.
- Experience with one or more automated SoD analysis tools such as SAP GRC (RAR, CUP, SPM), Approva, et.al. Adept with SAP segregation of duties tasks and management of system roles
- Experience supporting recurring test cycles
- Proficient in Sarbanes Oxley requirements as it relates to the security administration within a global SAP technical environment.
- Must be self-directed and have excellent initiative and organizational skills. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills in a complex environment
- Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
- Must be proficient in MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint for analytical problem solving, organization and planning, and communication & presentation.

- Highly self-motivated and directed
