Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Area of Responsibility:

  • Must be able to communicate in German & English Language.
  • Should have a knowledge of the Mechanical engineering processes ( Drilling, Welding, Boring, Milling etc ) in automobile assembly operations
  • Must be able the read, understand and analyse Technical Part drawings in German Language
  • Need to have understanding of Engineering Drawings in relation to the Manufacturing Processes for eg. Drilling, Milling, Boring Welding operations. Should be able to define operational activities and calculate operation assembly timings for manufacture of components
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to solve problems in respect to day to day tasks
  • Able to execute the work in given SLA timings. Effective communication skills to facilitate work with offshore team in India.
  • Facilitate Data Transfer into SAP for Routings to be created in SAP using data in the Engineering Designs. Working closely with the SAP consultant who will create Routings in SAP in line with the inputs received from the Design Engineer
  • Facilitates Client Meetings effectively and provided regular status updates

    • Knowledge/Experience

    • Working Experience in Shop Floor in Assembly/Manufacturing Operations
    • Good Understanding of Mechanical Engineering Designs
    • Should be Fluent in German and English Language
