Cable/Fixed Line Project Manager - GPON - Transport - Fixed - OSS - Telecommunications - Managed Services
Experience Needed
- At least 3 years of project management experience (Managed Services preferred)
- Ability to manage all aspects of the project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing financial management activities
- Ability to document and communicate the status of project progress against plans, taking corrective action as necessary
- Ability to develop project team members and conduct performance reviews
- Ability to review project deliverable for completeness, quality and compliance with established project standards
Tasks
- Drive project execution: track project activities, monitor & handle changes, conflicts & escalations;
- Establish the project approach, staffing, responsibilities and schedule
- Define team member roles and expectations and ensure timely feedback
- Review, and be responsible for, the overall development and integration of requirements;
- Measure and monitor progress at clearly defined points in the process to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget and that it meets expectations
- Ensure that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations; Ensure that the project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions
- Represent the project team in front of customers
- In charge of all design activities of the project
- Act as single point of contact on site for the all project related aspects
- Supervise project progress, review meetings, project schedule, resources and quality assurance.
