For one of our clients we are looking for a SAP MM expert (m&f) in Berlin.
Goals and Tasks:
- Developing and optimizing the customer`s Materials Management process model for Purchasing and Inventroy for Field Operations (New Installation / Existing Installation) as well as the conceptual design of the related business solutions jointly with the corresponding functional and zone business representatives
- Driving business process commonality and harmonization globally across the Materials Management network
- Identifying and driving business process improvements
- Project management for process and solution development
- Change management and process documentation
- Overseeing the implementations of purchasing and inventory management solutions for in existing and new KGs joining the global SAP E&E Platform (ERP)
- Governance for purchasing and inventory management processes and related new demands across the enterprise
- Interacting with a global and intercultural project team of Schindler employees from different zones and functions as well as external consultants
- Orchestrating a global network of purchasing and inventory management business experts and key-users
- Active end-to-end business value management and communication with business owners
- Supporting the KGs in improving their maturity level related to process discipline and Solution usage in order to achieve their operational goals
Requirements:
Education:
- Holding a Master’s Degree
Experience:
- A minimum of 5- 7 years of increasing responsibility in purchasing and inventory management
Languages:
- Being fluent in English. German and other foreign languages is an advantage
Job related technical skills & functional knowledge:
- Demonstrated strategic and operational purchasing and inventory management leadership experience across an industrial enterprise with a global footprint
- Be a highly experienced SAP expert in MM architecture, technologies and products and a business-savvy executive
- Strong knowledge of purchasing and inventory management processes and concepts in an international company
- Possess excellent influencing skills with business leaders of various cultures
- Possess superior intellectual agility, dealing comfortably and quickly with complex business requirements and IT issues
- Possess strong project management and leadership skills
- Be a good team player, effective communicator and coach
- Be open to new and diverse cultures
- Being able to work in a global matrix organization
- Location: Berlin (being ready to international travel)
