Art Director - Hamburg - English Speaking - June 2020Client:
My client is a close-knit team of professionals based in Hamburg, who are looking for an Art Director to help assist them in their newest Game Production. The position is permanent, full-time and requires you to work with us in their office in the centre of Hamburg (you will be working remotely for the interim until Corona virus passes). They are of course offering assistance with relocating.
Job Description:
- You will be defining the look and feel for their new game
- Working closely with the rest of the team to find and maintain the art style for the next project
- You will be working with Maya, focusing on concept characters and environments
- Supporting the 3D Artists and Animators in finding and delivering consistent style and quality throughout development, creating concept art, storyboards, mood boards etc.
- Design merchandise, website and marketing materials
- Overseeing main decisions concerning the game design decisions together with the team
Requirements:
- You have experience with Maya, Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 is a bonus
- You have a strong feeling for art style, atmosphere and lighting
- You have at least 1 finished game project in your CV
- 35 hours/week
- Language: English or German fluently
