Hi,we are looking for an experienced / Senior Python developer with a Data Science background. Your primary development focus will include, building / maintaining a common functions library, implementation of data migration concepts, definition and implementation of validation / calculation engines for time series and ensuring we are able to migrate a legacy system incl. data and business processes. This will further include the design of the underlying data structures and continuous deployment of the services.

• Good to have: Python Flask, Dash, DevOps, Big Data Architecture, SCRUM, SonarQube
• Assets: Docker, Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, NiFi, Camunda, Databricks, Cloudera, Kubernetes
- Location: 100% Remote
- Start: ASAP (January '23 is possible)
- Duration: 5 months / extension possible

- Language: ENGLISH is MUST HAVE, GERMAN a plus
• 4+ years working experience as a software engineer, preferably in an enterprise and data science environment
• A true team player who likes to contribute and benefit from working with others
• Engineer capable of designing solutions, writing code, testing code, automating tests and deployment
• Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and expertise with statistical computer languages (Python, etc.) and the related ecosystem (jupyterlab, jupyter notebook, …)
• Strong experience working and creating data architectures to designing and developing mission critical enterprise grade software in a big data environment
• Good knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing with Python
• Creative problem-solving ability and sound judgment – ability to use own initiative and take responsibility for decisions
