Job Title: Senior AEM Developer

Location: Fully remote in Europe

Length: 6 months

Rate: €60-70 p/h

Start: September 1st

My German client is looking for a Senior AEM Developer to join their team.

There are 2 teams working: components + core (architecture).

Cooperation with the customer is very good, friendly and professional. Language in meetings and tickets is English.

Components team:

The team works according to Scrum - there are dailies, plannings, estimations, reviews.

The developer should be very familiar with Adobe Core Components and Editable Templates. In addition, there is the use of the wcm.io tech stack (media, URL handler).

Requirements for the components are partly very complex - leads to a mix of modified core components and own components.

Unit tests are mandatory, SonarQube performs static code analysis. Pull requests are reviewed - developer must also review.

Core Team:

Very loose Scrum project organization, strong direct contact with architects.

Requirements always very complex - no use of core components possible.

The developer needs a very good understanding of caching techniques, ESI, SSI.

On the AEM systems, in addition to the greenfield pages, the legacy pages (which have not yet been migrated) are also running. This leads to page effects, both projects interfere with each other. In addition, bugs still have to be fixed in the legacy system.

German speaking would be beneficial.
