Main Tasks• Solution design for delivering complex software components in an IBM zOS mainframe environment
• Bridging the gap between Business Requirements and Functional Specifications
• Delivering Technical Designs and associated documentation to internal and vendor delivery teams
• Participation in the System Integration and User Acceptance Test
• Participating in the overall management of the SDLC
• Supporting Client facing Workshops in German
• Supporting multiple internal and external Projects concurrently
• Supporting Compliance and Regulatory Streams
• Delivering solutions for optimizing performance both for O/L and Batch Operations
• Supporting streams of work related with Security and Audit
• Responsible for Root Cause Analysis and Incident Resolution for Production environment
• Participating in multi-disciplined teams for enterprise projects
• On-call service and release deployment support
• Creation of High Level Estimations for new projects
• Process / GAP-analysis:
o Analysis and definition of technical and operational interfaces
o Analysis and definition of process flows of the business units involved
• Close cooperation with Sales, other IT departments, Operations and Training teams
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector
• 10+ years of related IT experience with knowledge in COBOL,SQL,CICS,JCL,DB2
• Experience in the Card Payments industry is a strong plus
• Strong personal commitment to department objectives
• Proactive work performance as well as working under time pressure
• Economic thinking and acting with client satisfaction attitude
• Ability to act independently and as a team player with IT functional units and business units
• Management and presentation skills on all levels
• Recommends strategies for improving performance and efficiency
• Experience in negotiations with external and internal customers
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English and German
